CMU offers one-year scholarships to four vaccinated students


MT. PLEASANT, Michigan (WOOD) – Working to encourage its students to get vaccinated against COVID-19, Central Michigan University is announcing that it will offer scholarships to cover one year of schooling for four fully vaccinated students.

The scholarships will be awarded in four separate draws, the university said on Monday. Each of the drawings will also choose 100 students to get a $ 75 gift card.

Students can register online now participate. They must have completed a vaccination schedule to register. Anyone who does will receive a 20% discount coupon at the student bookstore.

The draws are scheduled for August 2, August 23, September 13 and October 4. A student only needs to register once.

The State of Michigan also offers several scholarships to those aged 12 to 17 through its MI Shot to win a contest. These fellows have not yet been selected.
