Maine Seniors in Catholic High Schools Eligible to Apply for Lila Grace Sullivan Amirault Scholarships

PORTLAND — The 2022 Lila Grace Amirault scholarship determination process has begun, with all Catholic students attending a Maine Catholic high school eligible to submit an application.

The scholarship fund was established by Patrick Amirault through the Catholic Foundation of Maine in 2013. Amirault wanted to honor the memory of his wife, Lila, and show his gratitude for the care and education he he was received into a Catholic school in Malden, Mass., where he grew up as one of nine children in a poor family. Although Amirault has also passed away, the scholarships continue to benefit Catholic high school students in Maine.
