Medi-Share Sponsors 2022 Heroes Honor Festival and Joins Governor Desantis, Toby Keith and Others in Honoring Vietnam Veterans

This Memorial Day weekend, Medi-Share joins the Heroes Honor Festival at Daytona International Speedway in this patriotic public tribute to honor our Vietnam veterans.

Christian Care Ministry / Medi-Share, America’s leading healthcare sharing ministry, is sponsoring a 2-day patriotic event. Additionally, Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share employees also volunteer at the event, using paid time off provided by employees.

Open to the public over Memorial Day weekend at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, the two-day celebration will feature world-class country music entertainment, a ticker tape parade, interactive exhibits, meetings and an exhibition of resources for veterans. The event will be broadcast live by Fox Nation.

Organized by the non-profit organization Engage Your Destiny (EYD) and the Generation of 9/11 Veterans, the Heroes Honor Festival (HHF) is a public tribute to celebrate and honor Vietnam veterans – a recognition that did not receive when they returned home 50 years ago.

Vietnam veterans will be recognized as the honor keepers they are to our men and women in uniform. This is a great show of appreciation from veterans and citizens of the 9/11 era to our Vietnam veterans.

Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share Medical Director Dr. Alesia Greene served more than 20 years in the military before joining the staff of Medi-Share, one of the event’s major sponsors. She expressed pride and honor that her organization is involved in the Heroes Honor Festival.

“I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve our nation as a physician for 25 years in the United States Air Force, providing care to our veterans and their families,” Dr. Greene said. “These people sacrifice so much through their service and deserve the best we have to offer. I appreciate the heart behind the Heroes Honor Festival, honoring those Vietnam veterans who have faced so many challenges over the past 50 years. As we prepare for Memorial Day, let us not forget these service members and their families, especially those who gave their lives to save our nation.

Tickets are still available. Veterans, active military members, their spouses and children under 12 can register for free.
